Richard leading the 1st Patriot Pub Crawl in North Beach. He was standing up for the rights of ALL people because David Chiu was derelict in his duty as City Attorney to enforce the protections of the Unruh Civil Rights Act and San Francisco Police Code.

Born 1972 in San Francisco to hardworking immigrants from China and Guam, I grew up across the bay in Union City. I attended James Logan High School, Chabot Community College, UCSD and Golden Gate University School of Law. I began practicing law in 2000. I was registered as Democrat since 2016 but I changed my affiliation to "No Party Preference" on immediately before filing my candidacy papers on August 8, 2024.

I come from working class roots. My father came to SF Chinatown from Toisan, China in 1937. He was a U.S. Army World War II veteran and became a Merchant Marine thereafter. When he came back to San Francisco he joined ILWU Local 34 and worked on the docks until he retired. My mom was a civilian employee at the Oakland Army base for her entire career. I am the great-grandson of Chamorro hero, Vicente Baza, who was executed at Ta'i for aiding U.S. Navy Radioman George Tweed against the Japanese in Guam.

At heart, I'm an old school hippie and 49er faithful. I am a co-founder of Black Rock City Ice Cream at Burning Man. I love spending time with my family, coaching football and directing youth camp programs. I attended and volunteered with the Chinatown YMCA from 1984-1995. I have been a volunteer with CampSF from its' inception in 1995 - 2019. My passion is coaching youth sports and mentoring kids. I never sought public office, but I'm fed up! I can't stand idly by while our city is devastated by ridiculously poor judgment.

I got arrested in 2021 (charges were dropped) while protesting unlawful COVID mandates. In 2022, I led the Patriot Pub Crawl to end the unreasonable, shortsighted and illegal restrictions. I stood up for the rights of the people under California Civil Code Section 51 and 52 when City Attorney David Chiu refused to act. I had to do his job for him because he was derelict in his duties as City Attorney, as delegated to him under California Civil Code Section 52(c).

I promise to be your ferocious advocate, to defend your rights, protect your city's funds and finally establish transparent government with checks and balances. Public safety and law enforcement are my priorities, and I'll enable them to provide health, safety, prosperity and order. I am committed to working-class values. I am pro-family, pro-common sense and anti-fake politicians.

It's absurd that elections for this office have been uncontested for more than two decades. The last real contest for City Attorney occurred in 2001. The office has been staffed by radical idealogues. This is our opportunity for real change.

Vote for Richard T. Woon because San Francisco and its people deserve better!

San Francisco is in a very bad place right now. If we don't right the ship immediately, it will sink futher.

City Hall has a corruption problem. As George Carlin said, "It's one big club and we ain't in it!"

WE CANNOT AFFORD ANOTHER FOUR YEARS OF THE SAME USELESS CAREER POLITICIANS THAT DESTROYED SAN FRANCISCO!

I will stand up to all of the crooks.

We must vote out the majority of the incumbents and vote NO on all propositions and ballot measures EXCEPT Prop 36. The only incumbent that I can support is DA Brooke Jenkins because her opponent seems like Chesa Boudin 2.0.

Richard and his family!
